Bright and Cheerful!

In this part of the UK, and in most other parts too, it is dark, grey, and snowing again. From what my US and Canadian blog friends have remarked, it isn't all that great over there, either!

So I've chosen some bright and colourful pics to cheer us all up!

And, what is more, I have persuaded Mr. G that (a) we need a holiday and (b) he would love to go on a cruise! And believe me, that is a major miracle! So we are going on a cruise around the British Isles, got to wait until September, but it is booked!

(Warm, Mediterranean type next time, perhaps?)

How delightful and refreshing. Bright and bold colors just hit the spot today. Ah, isn't it interesting how we respond to color. A cruise in your future, I'm so glad for you. I remember you hoped for just such a way to celebrate the big anniversary coming up. It will be fun to follow your plans here.

I can imagine you have wonderful skills of persuasion!
The thought of a cruise right now sounds lovely! The sun is shining here, but we got 5 more inches of snow last night and it is in the 30s. Not much of a trade!
Thank you for the photos!!!

Wonderful plan to look forward to!

In Oregon it has been rainy and gray for weeks, it seems. But just yesterday it was sunny and wonderful and everyone's spirits lifted. However, the groundhog saw his shadow so we have 6 more weeks of winter.

I'm pleased that you have got round to booking the cruise, at last, but September is some way of. Don't wish your life away.

The picture of the rubber boots tells me that Spring showers may not be far off.
A cruise you say, how wonderful.
Matters not the type of weather we have, when its cold and snowing or hot and humid there are lovely things about the garden to enjoy...

A cruise!! How marvelous! I've never been on one. I've always wanted to do an Alaskan cruise.

It was quite pretty today in Southern California, but I think we may be in for another round of rain. Ah, well. Spring showers, flowers, etc.
