WET, WETTER, WETTEST !

Carmi's Thematic Challenge this week is WET.

Well, we have had plenty of that this winter, so I have managed to restrict myself to three photographs! The one above is water drops after rain. I love the way the drops just hang on the leaf. If you get close enough, and the light is right, you can see reflections in the drops. There is a whole world in there!

The next is a little jetty that sticks out into the lake in our Park. Lots of people and children come here to feed the ducks. But it can get very wet!

And the last is our tiny stream after a heavy rainstorm, when it does its best to imitate Niagara Falls down the stepped culvert to the Lake. The sound of running water is just lovely. There is a seat nearby and if you can find a dry bit you can sit and listen to it. Sheer pleasure!

I love the reflection of the railings in the puddle, was that intended or just a fluke, whatever, it is beautiful.

I love the sound of running water, in nature that is, not when my faucet is broken :) Great pictures, and the miniature Niagara Falls is cool.

Yes, the raindrops on leaves do it for me, Gilly - the sunlight makes them glitter like gems. x

Droplets are always so neat - Maybe it is because there is something fairy tale like about them! All great photos!

The first shot could have been central to the movie A Bug's Life! What a wow moment!
