Carmi's Thematic Challenge this week is
BLUE.I have lots of photographs with a background of blue sky, but thought something blue itself would be better. This is actually the door to the work place of the Park staff - bolted and barred for the weekend. With a lot of expensive machinery in there, it makes sense.
The second photograph is of a Grape Hyacinth
(Muscari). I have loads of them in a low brick wall, and they cheer me up every year with the very clear blue of their tiny flowers. They are not out yet, but I can imagine them with this photo and hope it won't be too long before they arrive!

love the door and the blues are fantastic
That is so true about blue...yeah there are shades of yellow and oranges but blue...oh my goodness there are so many tremendous blues out there...and you have shared some! I would love to have those flowers right now...especially growing on my deck! But, I guess we need spring....and a higher then -6 degrees below ZEROOOOOOOO !
I love muscari. Mine didn't bloom last year, but the green spikes are already pushing through the dirt now, so I am in hopes I will get blooms this spring.
Two lovely shades of blue, mix together for a sometime colour of the sea. Have a good Sunday Gilly. x
Both are really beautiful blues. I love the gate!
I missed the Thematic Thursday - now I'll have to go back and look for blue.
Your door is lovely. I adore muscari, too, especially the ones that have a scent. Oh, but they can spread, can't they?
Anything blue looks lovely!
I'm with you on waiting for those spring flowers!

That grate shot is spectacular. Talk about stark angles and shades. I love how you take every theme and make it your own.
