A quick trip
A quick trip round our local Garden Centre - looking for garden furniture being sold off cheap! - made me get my camera out when I saw all these gardening gloves hanging up. I thought they looked like happy hands!
Outside, there were rows and rows of luscious looking plants, but I was told we didn't need any of those! But I found these lovely pots, they'd look fantastic on our patio, but they were excruciatingly expensive, and weren't frost proof, which meant a lot of carting in and out each autumn. Just when it might be rather nice to look out at shiney pots!
The bigger ones were tremendously heavy, we couldn't even lift them. Imagine what they would be like full of compost!
A quick trip, but colourful, even if I couldn't buy any flowers!

I suppose that people who have those pots have plenty of helpers to move and store them. I have 2-3 large pots (15-16" in diameter) and I can't lift them when they are full of soil.
The gloves are so colorful!
That was fun - seeing all the pretty colors. I agree with you, the pots are too heavy. I have passed many up because of that.
The little part of my brain that likes things to be orderly is bothered by the red pot that is so not belonging in the second photo.
But it is all very pretty and colourful.
So did you get out without spending anything then?
Diane - Yes! We were ooking for reclining chairs and they haad nothing, but I managed to head outside before being shooed out by my husband!
Violet Sky - Too heavy to shift around! It stayed there!
pots!
just laughed....about to move mine from the front to the back of the house. No way round....gotta go straight through :(
Lovin those colours....so bright and cheerful- Thank You!
Those pots are lovely -- would be perfect for a homemade fountain!
Great pictures. Love the coloured pots. We bought a beautiful one which had been fixed Therefore we got it cheap (yes I am Dutch) We put a nice palm in it and it looks great.
The pots and the gloves match! Very pretty.

I love the look of those pots - but you're so right to think about weight and transport, and especially if they aren't frost-proof.
