Spring is here!

The birds are singing, the sun is shining, the trees are budding, and the flowers are coming out and enjoyhing the sunshine.
We might have had a sprinkling of snow this morning, but all the signs of spring, plus the sunshine, make me feel loads better! :)
Thank God I can still get out, even with sticks/crutches, and enjoy things. I feel so much for those who can't.

Those crocuses are lovely. Mine got trampled by the snow last weekend.

Gilly, I love detective books too; James Patterson is one of my favorite authors, and also David Balducci. Give them a try!

Lovely cheerful photos on your blog! We managed to get out in the garden and do some tidying up last Sunday. It was wonderful to be out in the fresh air.

Ah, the glory of colour....they remind me of Easter.
I'm visiting family in Ontario still. yesterday, the temps rose to 16 degrees celcius...This is crazy compared to the weather we left behind. I was out and about in Toronto with no coat on and a big bounce in my step. It was SO needed...and so welcomed.

Hi Gilly,
Your pictures are so pretty and cheerful - they do look like spring.
I'm another who will admit that I enjoy reading mysteries and books that entertain rather than educate.

When I lived where there was snow every year, crocuses seemed a little bit magical to me. Glad yours are blooming.

The peaches and nectarines are blooming here. Not many crocuses will thrive here, but we do have some compensations.
